The BIOSERVICE Group currently manufactures and distributes the following range of medical devices, targeted at the hospital sector but also at the home care sector. These products are handled by its "Medical Devices" business unit:
- Disposable biopsy devices (soft tissue, hepatic and bone marrow)
- Reusable soft tissue biopsy device ▪ Prosthetic orthopaedics products
- Body fluid line devices (systems for measuring hourly diuresis, fluid drainage bags, parenteral nutrition bags, thoracentesis and paracentesis kits, vesical catheterisation kits, individual cannulae or cannulae complete with tube for surgical aspiration, wash sets for arthroscopy and urology, syringes with distilled water and glycerine, distilled water and gel for vesical catheterisation, closed circuit system for fluid collection used during vesical washes, etc.)
- Respiratory care line devices (aerosol and oxigen therapy)
- Personal and hospital hygiene devices
A considerable amount of the business and turnover is also accounted for by the "Industrial" business unit, consisting of the production of a wide range of moulded and extruded products and industrial components for the biomedical sector, particularly targeted at the manufacturers of circuits for haemodialysis, heart surgery, and infusion and transfusion sets, as well as companies working in the urology and incontinence sector.
